מישל נלהבת לבנות מדינה בריאה, חזקה, יצירתית, חושבת קדימה, ומכילה. בניית קהילה חינוכית שבה לילדים ולמחנכים יש דעות שונות ועובדים יחד באווירה של כבוד היא היבט חיוני לצמיחה ופיתוח של עתידה של ישראל במדינה היהודית היחידה. זה היה המוטיבציה שלה להקמת מיתרים רעננה. כיום היא ממשיכה להיות פעילה במיתרים, כחברה בוועד המנהל הארצי של רשת מיתרים.

מישל אוהבת להגשים חלומות באמצעות תכנון אסטרטגי ויישום.

כיום היא מנכ"לית עמותת Kids Kicking Cancer ישראל/מעגל גיבורים ע"ר, המלמדת את המנטרה עוצמה | שלווה | מטרה באמצעות אומנויות לחימה טיפוליות לילדים המתמודדים עם מחלות קשות וכרוניות וכן נוער בסיכון.

לפני כן היא הייתה דירקטורית בארגון נפש בנפש שם התמקדה ביצירת הזדמנויות לעולים לתכנן ולהסתגל בצורה יעילה לחייהם בישראל. כדי לאפשר צמיחה כזו, היא פיתחה סינרגיות ובנתה מערכות יחסים עם עסקים מקומיים ובינלאומיים, משרדי ממשלה, עיריות וארגונים לא ממשלתיים ללא מטרות רווח.

נכדה הבכור של מישל הוא תלמיד מיתרים, וכך גם דודותיו ודודו.

Michele Kaplan-Green

Michele is passionate about building a healthy, strong, creative, and forward thinking, inclusive country. Building an educational community where kids and educators have different views and work together in an atmosphere of respect is an essential aspect to the growth and development of Israel’s future in the only Jewish country. That was her motivation for opening Meitarim. Today she continues to be active in Meitarim, as a member of the Meitarim Network National Board of Directors.

Michele loves to make dreams come true through strategic planning and implementation.

Today she is the CEO of Kids Kicking Cancer Israel/Maagal Giborim, which teaches Power Peace Purpose using therapeutic martial arts to children dealing with serious and chronic illness as well as youth-at-risk.

Prior to that, she was a Director at Nefesh B’Nefesh where she focused on creating opportunities for immigrants to effectively plan and acclimate to their lives in Israel. To enable such growth, she developed synergies and facilitated relationships with local and international businesses, government offices, municipalities and NGOs.

Michele’s oldest grandchild is a Meitarim student, as were his aunts and uncle.
